[Excerpt from The Voice]
“Beaumont Urgent Care has opened a new location on Gratiot Avenue in Chesterfield Township.
The Chesterfield Township location allows patients to access facilities in the Beaumont Network quickly for minor injuries and illnesses at a reduced cost compared to a more expensive emergency room visit. For fast, efficient care, services such as an in-house laboratory, X-ray and fiberglass splinting are also available.
All Beaumont Urgent Care locations, including Chesterfield Township, are now offering same-day COVID-19 PCR molecular test results.
Along with in-person visits to a Beaumont Urgent Care location, virtual visits are also available, offering immediate access through a live video chat using a phone, tablet or camera-enabled computer.
Virtual visits can be used to diagnose and treat a variety of nonemergency medical conditions and send a prescription to a patient’s local pharmacy. Virtual visits aren’t meant to replace a primary care provider, but are an option for some issues.
Some of the symptoms and conditions which can treated with a virtual visit, include cold, cough, flu, sore throat, sinus infections, rash, sprains, allergies, vomiting, fevers and headaches.
Beaumont Urgent Care accepts most insurances, as well as self-pay options.
The Chesterfield Township facility is located at 50964 Gratiot Ave., near 23 Mile Road. Regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.”
