Dr. Shay Sabom, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He then returned to Atlanta, where he received his M.D. degree from Emory University. He completed his postgraduate residency training in Family Medicine at MUSC in Charleston, SC and is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Sabom has extensive experience in both primary care and emergency medicine and has found a perfect mix of the two in urgent care medicine, which he has practiced for nearly 10 years. He especially enjoys using his skills to provide healthcare to medically underserved areas through short term medical mission trips.
Dr. Sabom is an Atlanta native and grew up in Dunwoody, GA. He and his wife Tara, live in Alpharetta, GA with their three kids, Asher, Adalyn and Evie Belle.
