Prisma Health Urgent Care to add facilities across the Upstate region in early 2025, offering extended hours and easy access

Greenville, S.C. – Prisma Health announces upcoming openings of their newest Urgent Care locations in the Upstate offering convenient care, extended hours and a superior patient experience.

Each new location offers easy access to serve busy residential and commercial districts. For every location, walk-ins are welcome or patients can visit prismahealthurgentcare.org to book ahead at the nearest location.

The hours for all the Prisma Health Urgent Care Centers are 8 a.m.–8 p.m., seven days a week.

New Prisma Health Urgent Care facilities in the Upstate will include:

  • Boiling Springs, 2555 Boiling Springs Rd., Boiling Springs, SC 29316 (Opens January 9)
  • Clemson, Gateway Village, 1390 Tiger Blvd., Clemson, SC 29631 (Opens early April)
  • Greenville, Cherrydale, 115 State Park Rd., Greenville, SC 29609 (Opens early March)

Dr. Patrice Weiss, chief medical officer for Prisma Health Medical Group, said, “Prisma Health is dedicated to improving healthcare accessibility and meeting the evolving needs of the communities we serve. Our goal is to deliver the highest quality care closer to where patients live, work and gather.”

The new facilities are equipped with top-of-the-line advanced medical technology and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals dedicated to providing compassionate, efficient and personalized care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Michael Duchynski, chief medical officer for Prisma Health Urgent Care, is enthusiastic about the newest locations. "We are transforming urgent care for South Carolina by removing obstacles to care while delivering exceptional patient experiences,” Duchynski said. “With each thoughtfully selected site, prompt and effective care becomes more accessible to individuals and families within that community."

Urgent care practices treat common injuries and illnesses that need prompt care but may not require visiting the closest hospital emergency department, where critical and life-threatening cases are received 24 hours daily, 7 days a week. Convenient access to urgent care services helps reduce wait times, ensuring patients receive timely treatment while alleviating strain on primary care providers with limited on-demand capacity.
