SIMPSONVILLE, S.C. – Prisma Health Urgent Care announced today the opening of a new location in Simpsonville. Beginning today, residents can visit the new center at 718 Fairview Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680 for convenient, high-quality walk-in treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The hours for all Prisma Health Urgent Care Centers are 8 a.m.–8 p.m., seven days a week.

The Simpsonville Martin Farms location brings expanded access to same-day care for this rapidly growing community, helping local residents receive convenient, high-quality care close to home. The opening also comes just in time for cold and flu season, with patients able to benefit from advanced Spotfire™ one-swab testing, now available to quickly detect multiple respiratory illnesses—including flu, COVID-19, and RSV—with a single sample. This rapid diagnostic capability allows patients to receive answers and treatment plans faster, helping them and their families feel better sooner.

“With the continued growth of the Simpsonville area, more individuals and families need timely, convenient healthcare options. Prisma Health Urgent Care improves community access to immediate care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries and reduces unnecessary emergency room visits. This level of care complements the many services already offered by Prisma Health in Greenville County to ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time—supporting a healthier community,” said Justin Benfield, CEO, Hillcrest and Laurens County Hospitals.

“Delivering exceptional urgent care in communities where access is limited is helping make health care more accessible, affordable, and patient-centered. We’re excited to bring this new center to Simpsonville, where we know options like weekend and extended hours are highly valued,” said Steven Celestina, vice president of operations for Prisma Health Urgent Care.

“Expanding urgent care access in Simpsonville reinforces Prisma Health’s commitment to meeting the needs of the communities we serve. Our patients and families have shared that convenience matters most, and Prisma Health Urgent Care offers compassionate care close to home so patients don’t have to travel far for the help they need,” said Dr. Patrice Weiss, chief medical officer for Prisma Health Medical Group.
