Piedmont Urgent Care Relocates to Buford Highway

Piedmont Urgent Care is now open on Buford Highway, providing quality care and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries.

The new clinic has relocated from 2021 Market Pl Blvd. in Cumming to 880 Buford Hwy. in Cumming as of April 16. The new location is near Lowe’s and Walmart in the Cumming Marketplace Center, approximately 1 mile south of its previous location.

“The move is part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest quality urgent care services in a more convenient and accessible setting for our patients,” said Katie Stinson, District Manager for Piedmont Urgent Care. “The new location offers improved visibility and easier access, situated where people live, shop and work.”

Piedmont Urgent Care provides a great alternative to emergency departments and are available when traditional primary care offices are not open, providing virtual and walk-in treatment for non-life-threatening illness and injury seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Urgent care visits can be used for common cold symptoms, such as cough, sore throat, nasal drainage, and ear pain. Piedmont Urgent Care also offers COVID-19 testing, flu testing and treatment, vaccinations (non-COVID-19), and on-site lab.

“We lend support to primary care physicians and their patients during extended hours, nights and weekends, particularly if their offices are closed. Most importantly, we are committed to delivering uncompromising care to every patient,” WellStreet CEO Lisa Mikkelsen said
