WellStreet’s efforts can now be heard on NPR radio!

In an interview with Atlanta’s NPR News, WellStreet’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Lee Resnick, explained the importance of physical examines for student athletes and active students alike. Dr. Resnick explains, “The main reason we do pre-participation screening for young athletes is to identify existing or potential problems that the student might encounter.”

So far, WellStreet Urgent Care has helped the community by providing free physicals for over 1,650 students, and the hopes are, many more will follow. WellStreet will continue to offer free physicals for the Atlanta community through the end of August to help all parents prepare for back-to-school and sports physicals.
